Our Story

S Star Technologies was founded on the principle that breathing is paramount. That is because everyone in S Star has a personal reason to push this company forward. Shane grew up with asthma, and as a child who wanted to help around the house, he couldn’t find any respiratory personal protective equipment that worked. Kaushik remembers the city skies, where the smog could be confused for clouds. Akash wants to help medical professionals because his sister’s dream is to be a doctor.

These thoughts persisted with the company, where we began to look at: Doctors & Nurses in the operating rooms possibly fogging their glasses, Emergency Medical Technicians & Firefighters maintaining their situational awareness before entering fire overhaul, and people in their day-to-day lives who are impacted by situations outside of their control just looking to stay safe. From there, the moment we knew that we could make a difference, we had to act.
